Looking Back...

As we close out 2015, we'd like to reflect on the past year and all that was accomplished. We've painted countless walls, refinished hundreds of wood doors, hung endless yards of wallcovering, we've attended industry events, added members to our team, encouraged healthier lifestyles for our employees, celebrated with each other, and the list goes on. It's been quite a busy year! Following is a recap of some of the things that Duggan and Associates has been up to over the past 12 months...

We've celebrated birthdays...

Our office staff, including our sales team, operations team, and accounting and office team, is up to 19 members! We've come a long way from the early beginnings of Chris Duggan and a couple of painters twenty-six years ago, to what the company has grown to today. Each member of our team plays an integral role in the company, and we like to celebrate and recognize each one of them on their special day with cake and a card signed by everyone...even if there's 4 birthdays in one month, everyone gets a cake...everyone.

We've recognized our field team...

Without our painters, well...there wouldn't be a Duggan and Associates. Our field team is important to us, as their work reflects our team as a whole. We strive to offer the highest quality product for our clients, and we know that in order to do that, we must recruit and retain the best of the best tradesmen (and women!) in this industry. One way that we work towards that is our Employee of the Month program which recognizes one of our field team members each month in appreciation for their hard work and dedicated service (they get a cake too).

We've had fun...

How does the saying go? Your team is only as strong as your weakest member? Here at Duggan and Associates, we're like a big family. We help each other out when needed, regardless of the task. We encourage members to build their skill sets and take on bigger projects. We want everyone to be a strong member and to feel like they are a valuable part of the team. Along with the hard work, we make sure to take time out to have fun and to get to know each other in a more casual setting. We each have our own personalities, our own families, and our own interests. By coming closer together on a personal level and learning more about the people we work side by side with, we work harder together to lift each other up.

We've supported...

Duggan and Associates heavily supports the Los Angeles branches of BOMA and IREM, along with its members. We frequently attend and sponsor events and our clients to ensure that these educational organizations continue to thrive and benefit those who utilize the many resources provided. It's just a big plus that we are able to meet and network with so many fantastic and intelligent people at these events as a by-product.

We've worked...

Oh how we've worked. You see all the fun we have through our newsletters and social media, but behind the curtains is a well-oiled machine that is manually running practically 24 hours a day. Each completed project required efforts from multiple members of our team...from our front desk admin that answered and directed your call, to the sales person who drove out to your property and then put together an estimate, to the operations team who handled the paperwork once your job was activated, to the superintendent who scheduled your work, to the foreman who managed the project, to the painter who completed the work, to the A/R person who billed for your work, to the controller who made sure everything was accurate in our systems, to the rest of the team on the back end who makes sure the company is functional and running smoothly. Every job that comes through is important to us, and every job, big or small, goes through each of these channels.

We've painted buildings...
