Happy Birthday, USA!

Where are the best spots in LA to watch the fireworks? We took the liberty (look out for well placed holiday puns) of researching for you!

1. Grand Park
Looking to avoid beach crowds and find your inner city slicker? Downtown's July fourth block party includes live music and food vendors with a 9PM fireworks showing. Take the metro and avoid the car conundrum!

2. Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook
For the hikers, the adventurers, the eagle eye viewers. Check out all of the shows from far above the chaos.

3. Rose Bowl Stadium
The 90th year of the Rose Bowl's annual AmericaFest is upon us. With a Beatles tribute, motocross, and a live broadcast from NASA giving updates of Juno the shuttle's big landing on Jupiter, how could you say no to a 4th in Pasadena?

4. Ballona Creek Bike Path
Fireworks to a soundtrack: tune into KXLU (88.9 FM) and get an extra dose of sensory indulgence. This show is taking place from a barge on the water in Fisherman's Village, Marina del Rey.

5. The Queen Mary
Of course, we didn't forget about our friends down south. Tickets start at $44 for the close-up views, but to avoid the fees, spread a blanket at Junipero Beach and see the show for free.

6. Disneyland
We know, we know.. they have fireworks all the time (while we're here, Dodger Stadium also has an extra special show on the 4th). But this one is different! If you don't want to pay $105 for Mickey and fireworks, get to a hill in Anaheim and soak it in.

7. Seaside Lagoon - Redondo Beach
The official viewing is $20 per person, but the website is talking a big game this year. See if it's worth the cash and report back.
Where will you see us next?
With "beach libations under moonlight"! Hoping to see everyone soon at Hotel MdR!
Free at last, free at last.
What have we been up to?
IREM Dodger night in June was a smashing success!
Telling people where not to walk with the stylish & popular epoxy floor coating as backdrop.
Restoring wood to its naturally beautiful finish.
Getting ready for the feast!
An ode to the last minute party hosts: with only a few minutes and whatever you have in the fridge, this'll work festive wonders!
